To save Pirlouit who has been turned into stone, Tom and Léa try to find the second of the four objects of the magic formula which will restore the penguin's appearance! In the magic cabin, the children discover a book on the fauna and forestry of the Swiss Alps, a riddle and a small vial of potion which allows them to change their appearance for an hour. And hop ! Here they are, heading to the Grand Saint-Bernard pass, in the time of Napoleon Bonaparte, in search of a yellow and white flower. Only the mountain is covered in snow! Then the children are swept away by an avalanche and buried. Fortunately, monks, helped by their Saint Bernard dogs, found them and took them to their monastery. Tom and Léa then meet the brotherhood and the animals it takes care of. One animal in particular immediately seduces Léa: it's Barry, a crazy dog. She offers to take care of it and above all to train it. But this is no easy feat. The day Napoleon's soldiers come knocking at the monastery door, Barry takes the opportunity to escape! The two children will then go to the mountains to look for their new companion and find the flower...
Pour sauver Pirlouit qui a été changé en pierre, Tom et Léa essayent de trouver le deuxième des quatre objets de la formule magique qui redonnera au manchot son apparence ! Dans la cabane magique, les enfants découvrent un livre sur la faune et la fore des Alpes Suisses, une énigme et une petite fiole de potion qui leur permet de changer d'apparence pendant une heure. Et hop ! Les voilà qui filent au col du Grand Saint-Bernard, au temps de Napoléon Bonaparte, à la recherche d'une fleur jaune et blanche. Seulement la montagne est recouverte de neige ! Puis les enfants sont emportés par une avalanche, et ensevelis. Heureusement, des moines, aidés de leurs chiens Saint-Bernard, les retrouvent et les emmènent dans leur monastère. Tom et Léa font alors la connaissance de la confrérie et des animaux qu'elle prend en charge. Un animal en particulier séduit immédiatement Léa : c'est Barry, un chien tout fou. Elle propose de s'en occuper et surtout de le dresser. Mais ce n'est pas une mince affaire. Le jour où des soldats de Napoléon viennent frapper à la porte du monastère, Barry en profite pour se sauver ! Les deux enfants vont alors partir dans la montagne rechercher leur nouveau compagnon et trouver la fleur...
