Book Condition Guide

Our goal is to provide more French books to young Francophile reader across the US. We do this by sourcing as many pre-loved books from the French community, buying the titles they don’t want or haven’t got space for and find them a happy new home.

How we categorize our books

We assess and carefully checked all books. It’s very important for us that you will you’ll receive books in exactly the condition described. 

The categories we use are Like new, very Good, Good, and Acceptable.

Like new: Books have tight bindings, they are clean inside and out. Can be gifted.

Very good : Covers have mild signs of wear. Pages are unmarked.

Good : Covers and Spine may show mild to moderate signs of wear.

Acceptable : Shows clear signs of wear, and may have some markings on the inside. No pages are missing.
